Gamer Dreams is a video that travels through various spaces and locations where the virtual takes place, ending in a Buddhist temple. This journey, articulated through tracking shots and brief pauses in the form of static and detail shots, takes us through a data center, a gaming cybercafé, an eSports competition arena, and finally, a Buddhist temple.

This path invites us to reflect on how virtual experiences are created, the time we spend in front of screens, and the meaning these experiences can acquire. The video’s ending in the temple suggests that digital experiences can hold a mental transcendence comparable to other meditative activities; likewise, contemplation and screen-based experiences can resemble spiritual contemplation and belief, since—even if they do not exist materially—they are felt as real.
